✿ Thanksgiving OOTD 2013 ✿

Thanksgiving was so very warm here! It didn't feel like winter at all haha. I'm happy to present you with my outfit of the day ♪(v^_^)v

Sweater: YesStyle
Dress/Skirt: China

The top is a favorite of mine that I've had for quite some time. So easy to wear and pair with almost anything, and so comfortable. I love the cute nerd bunny hehehe.

Under it I am actually wearing a chiffon dress that peeks out perfectly to act as a skirt.

Stephen & Cindy

Was so happy to see everyone, especially my one and only younger brother. He's so sweet!! Just turned 15 and already 180 cm!! I'm 158 cm so its difficult to take selca with him hahaha.

After being away at university for so long, I really miss being surrounded by loving family members all the time who dote on me and constantly asking if I have eaten yet. Chinese families love to feed their children hahaha. Was happy to eat home cooked meals from my aunties and mom ^ _ ^ ❉

This year I am thankful for:

❄︎ Going away to University and really learning to appreciate my family
❄︎ Having all my family be in such great health and happiness
❄︎ Being able to study what I want with my parents support
❄︎ Being able to have my own apartment and opportunity to be independent
❄︎ Having my puppy Wanpo in perfect health ✩ He's such a cutie!!
❄︎ Meeting such wonderful people on IG -- this year truly has been amazing

✿ What are you thankful for? I hope everyone has good health and prosperity and I look forward to Christmas and the New Year. One year older, one year wiser ✿✿

✿ Kose SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oil [Review] ✿

I've been using this product for a little while now and I decided to give it a review. This product is a makeup remover/cleanser and I really like the adorable packaging. Boyfriend Kevin bought it for me when in Japan because I wanted to try out some new products and this is supposedly a best seller.

Adorable right? This isn't the normal packaging, it's the special Peanuts one!! So cute☆〜(ゝ。∂)He even got me the refill in case I would like it!! And I do like it! However, I only use it for certain things.

The product is supposed to be good for removing makeup without stripping out all the natural oils in your skin. I've seen reviews from other people, some saying that it was very good at removing their BB creams and others saying they didn't like the texture or that it made them break out.

Personally, if I used this product alone in removing my makeup, it wouldn't be very effective. I usually use my normal exfoliating wash first and then I slab this on afterwards. The exfoliating wash really gets off almost everything and this oil cleanser does the rest. I follow it up with a toner and moisturizer. What I have noticed is after I started using this cleanser, my skin has gotten softer and less dry. That's definitely a pro.

I also use this when I am removing my false lashes. I like to put some on a Q-tip and apply it on the base of the false lashes. The glue will become less adhesive and the lashes will come off very easily. No more pulling on my natural lashes! Also, very effective at fixing eyeliner oopsies! If you accidentally make a mistake or want to revise your eyeliner, this product is particularly good at fixing it without being too "wet" like normal eye-makeup remover.

If I have to rate this product, I would probably give it a 3.9/5 ✩ It isn't too good for removing makeup (from my experience) but it is a good second-step cleanser (moisturizes skin) and helps remove eyelashes. It's also very affordable (around $15-$20/ 230 mL bottle) and lasts for quite some time.

Thanks for reading (^_−)−☆

☁︎ Makeup Routine & Excited for Cold Weather!! ☁︎

Hi guys!! I'm so happy winter is nearing and that autumn is here!! I absolutely love love love the vibrant colors that decorate the trees now. Oranges, yellows, browns... So pretty ^_− I love the colder seasons not only because I prefer cold weather, but also because I love wearing cozy, warm outfits!! I also don't get uneven skin tone in the colder months and it's an excuse to down a lot lot lot of hot chocolate ^__~ hehe.

Here is my makeup of the day. Mmm.. It's really simple to do and I'm sure you can do it yourself :D

What I Use:

❉ Smashbox Photo Finish Primer

This product is really amazing; makes your face such a smooth canvas for other products!! I wish my skin was as smooth as when I apply this product >/////<

❉ MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
I apply this under my eyes if I have dark rings and to select spots.
**sorry, I don't have a picture of it because Wanpo chewed the top :/

❉ DiorSkin Nude Compact

This just evens out my whole face's tone. The coverage really isn't very good so if you have spots you need to hide, I would recommend the MAC Studiofix Powder Plus Foundation.

Isn't the packaging just beautiful? ^__~
❉ Makeup Forever HD Microfinish Powder
Sometimes I use this, sometimes not. Usually I don't because I'm lazy or I don't feel the need to since I just used the powder foundation. However, this product is really good at filling any "cracks" or pores in.

❉ Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner
My favorite eyeliner of all time ^__^ I prefer this one over the MAC and Lancome ones, I'm not sure why. All three are really good products of course, but the packaging for Stila products is so natural looking. I recommend this eyeliner to anyone who has the problem with leaking eyeliner. I use this on both the top and bottom of my eyes.

❉ Dollywink & SHO-BI lashes (Optional Contact Lenses)
Dollywink Lashes (whichever ones you want; I'm wearing #1"Dolly Sweet") on top. SHO-BI's Decorative Eyelash on the bottom in #4

A trick that one can do is actually use your liquid eyeliner and carefully draw in/fill in the bottom lashes as well. I did that in the above portraits under my lashes so that the camera would be able to capture them better.

Contact lenses are optional. It's fun to change your eye color every once in a while! And if you want the bigger, doe-eye look, you can invest in a variety of brands that offer larger diameter lens. I'm currently wearing GEO's Super Nudy lens in Grey which are my go-to lenses.
