Pink and Black and a Hat

Hello Beauties,

Today's post is just a really simple outfit that's super comfortable to wear in this warm weather. Recently it's been really hot!! Spring is definitely here.

I never used to wear hats when I was younger and only started recently because the sun has been quite strong. When I was younger I'd always worry that hats would make my face look rounder. I had/still have a pretty chubby face x__x

I still wear cardigans or long sleeves (even though it's really warm out) when I head out because I hate the look of uneven tans. My brother and Tubbie both have farmer tans hahaha.

I really love Pink x Black combos.

Top is actually a bralette with a cute bow design in the back.
Shorts are high-waisted, from Japan.
Cardigan is from Uniqlo.

Fun Fact: I really am not a big fan of the extreme heat.. or the extreme cold.
I love weather thats in between, just like how Goldilocks liked her porridge ✩

What are you wearing and what is your weather like?

Happy Spring

Lupicia Sakura Berry & Cerisier Tea

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Lovelies ✿,

Yesterday Tubbie and I made a trip away from our small college town to the city of San Jose for groceries (because we can't get certain Asian foods here). We always go to Mitsuwa and sometimes both Mitsuwa and Marukai. Here is my face when we roamed the parking lot for 25 minutes before getting a parking spot. All the Asian uncles and aunties were coming to the market at the same time as us (note to self: it was rush hour; never again).

This is my face during that ordeal:

Okay, maybe I was a little more frustrated than that, but you can't be angry at the adorable aunties and uncles and grandmas and grandpas and little kids!! I was just relieved when we finally parked.

We always stock up on tons of veggies, noodles, soup bases, seasonings, etc. But the most beautiful thing about Mitsuwa market is it's not JUST a super market. There are specialty shops all around the store! There's a specialty dessert spot, Kinokuniya Bookstore, Lupicia Tea Shop, and more.

So I was walking by Lupicia's and spotted the most beautiful spring display of Cherry Blossom inspired teas. And I just HAD to try them after inhaling their lovely, sweet scent from the displays. There were a total of 5 Sakura-inspired teas, but I chose the bottom two which were the sweetest smelling ones.

I absolutely adore the cherry blossom shaped dishes!! They are so pretty and elegant and look so good with the tea leaves in them!! ♡ Aren't the tea leaves themselves just gorgeous?? I especially love the Happiness tea with the lovely pink petals in it. The Cerisier tea is also beautiful with the specks of pastel colored elements.

✿ Here's a better look at the tins ✿

✿ Cerisier Tea ✿

" This sweet-flavored decaffeinated black tea will remind you of cherry blossoms in the spring."
✿ Black Tea ✿ Sugar Crystals ✿ Heath Flower ✿

I really like both teas and do encourage that you try them out if you love sweet, fragrant teas. Do you drink tea regularly? What are you favorite kinds?

My Makeup Products

Hi Lovies!!~

So I wanted to share the photos that I took when I did the UrMadeUpFace collab with Joanne @UrHappyBunnie with you all because I did a post where I mentioned the products I used back during winter time, but have updated them a bit since then.

I've started to really like blush a lot. In my early teenage years I had the chubbiest cheeks and never liked accentuating them, but now I guess the baby fat has gone down a bit and I love the rosy cheeks look! I think it's so cute :3

Do you like to wear blush?

These products are not ALL on my face at once. I use them interchangeably, but I do like all these products and would recommend them to people who have oily skin. My goodness I've got such oily skin (even during cold months).

1. Revlon Tweezers for the false lashes
2. MAC Oil Control Lotion
3. Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
4. Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector
5. Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet + Foundation
6. MAC Studio Fix Foundation Powder Compact
7. Make Up For Ever HD Powder
8. MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
9. CanMake Blush
10. L'Oreal Lineur Intense Eyeliner
11. Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner

I'm actually just trying out the BECCA Ever-Matte Primer because I got the sample from Sephora from their points system, which I think is great because I actually found the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer through it (and I've been using it for years now).

A closer up :P
The lashes I'm wearing are Dolly Wink #17 in Sweet Girly on top.
Bottom Lashes are by SHO-BI -- Decorative Eyelash in #4 Play Cute.

Hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!!

Juju Cosmetics AquaMoist Hyaluronic Acid Collagen Toner & Moisture Lotion [Review]

Hi Lovelies!!

I'm excited to tell you guys all about a product I received from my bf's grandma when she came to visit from Japan. She's so sweet and always gets me a handful of gifts when she comes! This one is from JUJU Cosmetics and it's the AquaMoist Hyaluronic Acid Collagen Moisture Toner. Then I went shopping with my Tubbie and came across the whole like of AquaMoist products and had to get the moisturizer too! AquaMoist Hyaluronic Acid Collagen Moisture Lotion Here's what they look like:

These products cost about $17 and up depending on where you are and which shop you purchased them from. I think it's so worth it!! One bottle should last a very very long time because only a teeny bit is needed for full facial coverage.

There's a full line of products that I want to try from this line also. They actually just released the updated, new AquaMoist line in which the packaging has been changed to a blue and white theme, but I liked this color scheme more.

How to Use:
After cleansing the face thoroughly, one should wet a cotton pad with the toner and apply gently to the face. The small collagen molecules are able to effectively permeate the skin for supple, revitalized skin. Hyaluronic acid instantly hydrates the skin and allows it to gain back moisture that was stripped away during the cleansing process. Then apply the moisture lotion afterwards for additional moisture.

The toner is very watery (like most toners), but the moisture lotion is not creamy in the least! It's actually more like essence!! It goes on very well and makes your face feel so smooth.

Essence-like moisture lotion
What I Think:
After using it for about a week or so, I'm wondering why I've spent so much money on large brand name skin care lines when this feels so much more effective! Seriously, I didn't think it would work!! My face has been feeling so much more "bouncy" and smooth after using this (almost the very next day). I'm going to try and have my mom and grandma use it too, it's that good!!

I have really oily skin too so the fact that the moisture lotion isn't creamy is a good thing.

I'm giving this product 4.5/5 and it's definitely something I'd recommend to everyone!

Dolly Wink #2 "Sweet Girly" [How To & Review]

Hi Cuties!!

I was wandering through the supermarket with my Tubbie (heehee his new nickname) hunting for dinner's ingredients and let myself drift over to the home and beauty sections (not always a good idea). Came across a huge array of lashes (so tempting) and picked these up along with a few other beauty products I'll review later on.

Was wondering which ones to choose, and ultimately got the Dolly Wink #2 Sweet Girly lashes! I really love the designs of the others (here I talk about #1 and #17 ♡), but many of them don't show up too well. So I opt for the much more long designs because only then will they show up on photos and give the desired dolly eye look =^__^=

Don't you just absolutely love the packaging of the Dollywinks?? I actually love this old packaging more than the new packaging. I just love the whole bottle concept with the two daisies at the top. So simple and cute!!

Back of the package
Really love how they look on the model's eyes :3
Especially with those bottom lashes <3
And here are the lashes themselves!! Very pretty and delicate!!

This design actually reminds me a lot of #17 with the more thicker lashes in the middle, but these are definitely longer than the #17s. Also, the lash band is much softer just like the #1s and the individual lashes are very wispy and soft which makes these super comfortable to wear.

Again, I'm very happy with how well the glue works. You shouldn't have any trouble with the lashes lifting up with this glue. Make sure to apply a little bit more glue on the ends and you should be fine (as you should with all glues).

How to Use Eyelashes
I actually never took the time to open the little slip of paper inside,
but I did this time and it's an instruction manual on how to apply the lashes.

Application Instructions
✿ Remove eyelash gently and firm from the corner with tweezers.
✿ Hold both corners and bend the lash bone back and forth for most natural fit.
✿ Cut lashes for the correct length for your eyes.
✿ Apply glue along the lash bone.
✿ Apply lashes as close as possible to your natural lashes.
✿ Lightly press down on the front, middle and end of the lashes to get them as close to your natural lashes as possible.

How to Remove
✿ At the outer corner of the eyelash, gently pull to remove lashes. Remove old glue and store in eyelash case.

** You could also apply products like this (oil cleanser) or eye makeup remover on the base of the lash first to loosen up the eyelash glue so there is less tug on your real lashes**

Hehehe excuse my unruly wet hair. Here they are. Of course, they're more evident in real life. And maybe I'm just bad at taking eyelash photos?? My photo is not nearly as nice as the one on the packaging.

Here's a teeny different angle..

And last one!! Here you can sort of see the lashes better.
Using iPhone 5S's front camera. It's a bit blurry ^__^" I wanna get a good camera soon!!

Hope you guys enjoyed this <3

White Faux Fur iPhone 5[S] Case

Hello Bunnies!!!~

I'm super super SUPER excited and happy today because I just got a package I've been waiting for FOREVER in the mail this morning!!!

Tadaaaa!!~ This faux fur case!!~
I'm so so so happy and gushing over it!! ☁︎

I've been eyeing this case for a while now, but it's always been more money than I think it's worth. Usually I saw it going for close to $20 on eBay. But I finally found a super cheap price at $8!! Super happy with it because the material is SOOOOOO SOOOOOOFT.  I was half expecting something that was really low quality and scratchy material, but it's super super smooth and very addicting to for fingers to just brush over.

Really in love with the cute cute deco around the camera area. It's super adorable right?! I just really don't like how cheaply cut the material is in that area.

However, most of the time the fur will cover it up and people won't look too closely.

Still it just bothers me a bit :< But I can't complain since I got it at such a low price!!

And this is how it looks like from the front.

I really love it!! It's so soft and pretty!! It actually comes in more than just white. There was also grey and black. The grey one is also super pretty because it's not just GREY. It's a mixture of grey and white. Hm.. my description doesn't do it justice.

Anyway, initially I was worried about it getting dirty quite easily, but apparently you can wash it under warm water with soap and blow dry it! After blow drying, your case should look brand new ^__^

No 9 Sheer Pink Top

I'm super happy about this new sheer sweater I purchased recently. It's so cute and comfortable and my favorite shade of light pink with black lettering.

I purchased it from H&M recently when I went shopping with my bf.
Usually I'm pretty picky about clothing and will always find some sort of imperfection.

With this top it was love at first sight!!

The only thing I don't like about it is how delicate it is.
My puppy's claws have already marred it a bit :'[ It's okay, Wanpo, it's okay.

Speaking of Wanpo!! Here he is :D

Super shy, I know hahaha. He's quite bashful when it comes to taking pictures XD In this photo, he is 1 and 1/2 years old. I can't believe I brought him home when he was about 7 weeks old!! His birthday is June 24, 2012. So his second birthday will be coming up several months!! They grow so fast...

EOS Blytheye Blue Lenses from MapleLens!

Hi lovelies, today I'm going to do a review on how well the EOS Blytheye Blue lenses show up on  brown eyes. I know many girls and guys out there shop around for colored lenses and worry about them not being very noticeable. Perhaps it's for a cosplay costume or maybe it's just for an everyday look.

These lenses were kindly sent to me from Maple Lens.

The diameter of these lenses are 14.00 mm and water content is 38%. They last up to a year if you take good care of them, but I like to change my lenses once they start to feel unfresh? Haha, so I change mine every several months. It also will depend on how often you plan on wearing them. Of course, more wear, more tear.

The packaging that MapleLens sends their lenses in are the cutest!!!
It's a ring box!! It's the perfect size for the two contact lens containers though!!

Aren't they adorable? I love the cute cute pink floral packaging.

EOS Blytheye Blue Lens

Every single pair of lens you purchase comes with a free contact lens container.

These lenses are very very bright blue. I don't really know when I'd wear them since I don't really fancy bright bold colors and love more natural colors. But maybe if I cosplay in the upcoming anime convention I will use them ^___^

They show up really well when compared to other brands in which the color gets overwhelmed by the brown of our eyes. For those who want a dramatic, shocking look, these lenses are great. They come in a variety of colors too!

EOS (Evolution of Smooth) Lip Balms [Review]

Happy February my Lovely Bunnies ❉

Today I'm doing a review on the EOS lip balms that have already been out since forever, but I never really got into them until recently.

I was at Costco with hubby and we were buying groceries and house-necessities when I passed by a display of the 5-pack EOS lip balms. I glanced at them and said to him, "Hubby, I remember using this a few years ago and I really didn't think they were all that." He picked it up and that's when I saw something I never realized before: 100% Natural, 95% Organic

It's a little dangerous to assume that just because it's 95% Organic, that it must be a good product. But I purchased them because I wanted to give them another try. I already have a go-to favorite for lip balms (Philosophy Pink Almond Candy Lip Balm) but the price for this was too good to pass up (and I was curious about the whole natural and organic thing).

The front of the packaging says: "lip balm with shea butter and jojoba oil for happy, moist, super-smooth lips. 100% natural 95% organic"

The back of the packaging says: "Can a lip balm make you smile? We think so. That's why we invented this one. EOS lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, EOS keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.

Directions: Twist off top. Pucker up. Smooth on. Smile."

Then it proceeds to list the ingredients of each flavor.

The description on the back is so well-written >//3//< It makes the product seem so amazing!! And the packaging was really one of a kind and so cute! I love the colors they chose for them! They remind me of Easter Eggs, hehe.

The 5 pack comes with Passion Fruit (lavender), Sweet Mint (baby blue), Strawberry Sorbet (pink), Summer Fruit (red), and Honeysuckle Honeydew (green). I've tried the Strawberry Sorbet in the past and I didn't recall it being all that effective (because my lips are VERY hard to deal with, especially in winter).

Definitely looks like colorful easter eggs here :]

However, one really good thing about these lippies are that the scents are out of this world!!
When I opened them up for these two shots, I was hit by so many sweet and yummy smells!!~
Great for you ladies & gentlemen who love delicious smelling lip balms ^////^

I've only tried the Strawberry one.. but I'm excited to try the rest :D

I used the sweet mint one and I'm going to give the EOS lip balms 3.75/5 ☆ because although I love the smell, it just isn't able to compare to the Philosophy Pink Almond Candy. My philosophy lippie glides on so smoothly and is VERY moisturizing and long lasting while also giving a soft pink sheen (and I actually like the sweet scent more as well). The EOS balm, while also pretty moisturizing, just isn't able to compare. I find myself having to reapply a lot more throughout the day. Also, the EOS leaves your lips with a very light feeling (as if there's not really much product on your lips) while the Philosophy has a more glossy feeling. That's really up to your own preference.

However, you have to look at the prices. I got all 5 of the EOS for a little under $15 while the Philosophy Pink Almond Candy lippie cost over $12.

Have you used the EOS balms or Philosophy Pink Almond Candy? What do you think about them? ^_^
